A Closer Look at the 2008 Subaru Impreza WRX STI
Honda the producer of Acura brake caliper is known for designs that really create an impact like for instance the Element SUV that has created quite a buzz since it was introduced in late 2002.
The Element SUV is in itself is just your average car without the trimmings but Honda’s extra ordinary designing prowess has turned it into one of the most appealing SUVs available in the market. Its everyday usability boosts further by the large amount of storage provisions, a versatile cargo area, comfortable accommodations, and economical fuel consumption makes it the perfect vehicle for families.
The four-seat Element was given a number of improvements last year of which include an updated styling and a more solid drivetrain. It also added new safety features such as side curtain airbags and an electronic stability system.
The SC Trim with Better New Styling
The Element variants include the LX, EX, and SC or Street Custom. The LX and EX are offered in front or all-wheel drive while the SC comes only with front-wheel drive.
In addition, the LX and the EX sport are equipped modest headlights and a twin-bar grille meanwhile the SC was given an entirely different feature. It was given a more tuned-up appearance highlighted by its intimidating headlights, a darkened grille, 18-inch wheels, monochromatic ground effects and a sport-tuned suspension.
All Element variants are powered by the potent 2.4 liter four-cylinder, offered with either a five-speed manual or five-speed automatic transmission. The engine revs up 166 horsepower and 161 pounds-feet of torque.
The Element possesses a wind-catching shape but despite such it remains well planted on the highway even when running at high speed. There is also nothing to be said when it comes to its transmission since it kicks down with minimal delay delivering quite a performance. The standard four-wheel-disc antilock brakes keep the Element safe. Depending on the driveline and transmission, the highway gas mileage of an Element SUV varies from 23 to 25 mpg.
